This is the view from the 4th floor of Link Hall at Syracuse University! The lab at which I work is located here and I love people watching and admiring the vibrant sunsets during my downtime.

What was your first interaction with a school-community project and the impact it had on you?

In high school, I was a member of my township Youth Council, a local volunteer organization. As environmental chair, I helped spearhead events such as park cleanups and freecycling initiatives. I also had the opportunity to lead community-based events, where I taught individuals how to convert their old t-shirts into reusable bags to take grocery shopping, and helped them start their own gardens!

How did you first learn about EPIC-N?

As an intern for the US EPA, I was given the opportunity to work alongside amazing staff at EPIC-N. On this team, I map global change surrounding climate resilience projects and observe the UN Sustainable Development Goals in action!

In what ways are you looking to engage, or work with others, either from within the EPIC-Network, or in general?

Looking to share ideas and learn as much as I can from others! Super excited for the ways in which the EPIC-Network will inspire me and help me grow as an individual and a professional!

During my internship I am assigned to support individual EPIC programs needing some assistance with project data tracking. I look forward to meeting some of the leaders of programs in the USA.
