The Town of Miami seeks to develop a strategic framework to guide its growth and development into the future. With exponential growth projected in the coming years, the Town is interested in exploring examples of strategic guiding documents from peer communities, opportunities for the Town to gain additional revenue through mining taxation, avenues for collaboration with higher education institutions, and solutions for how to increase tourism while still honoring “Old Miami.” Graduate students from the School of Public Affairs wcollaborated with Town staff to develop strategies to inform a framework for sustainable growth and development.
