Every year, EPIC-N celebrates outstanding contributions by university programs and community partners through the 2020 EPIC-N awards.
The City of Apache Junction has gone above and beyond to help ASU staff ensure that the Project Cities program continues to grow and develop. As Project Cities’ inaugural partner they stayed with staff through a wild journey, as they figured out what worked, what didn’t and what could be better.
The City was always a good sport and have always been willing to have humble and honest conversations along the way—providing helpful advice on how ASU could continue to improve. Apache Junction staff have been through thick and thin with Project Cities; they’ve stuck with the program and continued to actively engage. Project Cities staff shared that Apache Junction is an excellent partner and they are very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with them. It is through Apache Junction’s support and guidance that ASU was able to grow into the robust program they are today.
