As part of their graduate capstone project, Sports & Recreation students collaborated with students in the School of Urban and Regional Planning to assist in the creation of a promotion and branding guide for Webster City Parks & Recreation Department.

In order to fully utilize the existing Parks and Recreation opportunities, the City of Webster City has requested assistance with marketing and branding of the current system. Students identified best practices and strategies for the city to use, including event ideas, social media campaigns, and revitalization ideas.

These recommendations were paired with the Parks and Recreation Master Plan created by students in the School of Urban and Regional Planning in order to provide a complete revitalization of the parks and recreation systems in Webster City.
