EPIC-Network Call: Previewing Resources for Adopting the SDG

This winter, EPIC-N committed to support member programs’ adoption of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). To assist with adoption, EPIC-N is working with leading organizations, faculty, and interns to develop resources.
During this EPIC-Network Call, Lori DiPrete Brown, the co-chair of the UniverCity Alliance at UW-Madison, will facilitate a conversation with attendees discussing resources she is developing to assist EPIC-N programs adopt the SDG. After a short presentation of what she has proposed to the network, Lori will ask attendees for feedback to help EPIC-N build better resources for its members. If you cannot attend, but with to provide comment, please RSVP as event organizers will be sending out relevant information by email before and after the event to those that RSVP.
Following open discussion, EPIC-N leaders will share some important event and resource announcements. After the announcements attendees will be able to use the remaining portion of the meeting (usually 30- to 45-minutes) to continue group conversations or split into breakout rooms for small group discussions.
This EPIC-Network Call will be recorded. Once ready, the recording will be posted in the EPIC-N Member Commons.
More about the EPIC-Network Call Series
The main goal of this call is to connect. As part of the EPIC-Network Call series, individual members volunteer to present and/or facilitate conversations on subjects they find crucial to the success of some aspect of the EPIC Model, program management, or other topics. Notes are taken and shared with anyone who RSVPs “Yes”, “Maybe” or “No” to the event. Calls are sometimes recorded and shared in the EPIC-N Member Commons and sometimes on the EPIC-Network YouTube Channel.
This call is part of the EPIC-Network Call series which is open to anyone looking to start, support, and/or improve an EPIC program. The audience of the call may change slightly from month to month. The RSVP form will note which audience is of focus for each call. Organizers use Zoom conference and video call software to connect parties.
