Students in IST 440 have worked with State College Borough on analyzing current and new threats to the borough and making recommendations to the recovery plan. In previous semesters students identified risks as well as a format for assessment and mitigation of identified risks, including natural gas leaks, plane crash, major accidents, earthquake, prisoner escape, water main break and extended power outage.
