This report details the findings of research commissioned by the City of San Diego and carried out by student-researchers at San Diego State University on the issue of ways to improve the City of Lemon Grove and what improvements participants were most highly interested in. To answer this question, we interviewed both nonresidents and residents of Lemon Grove with an attached survey containing open-ended and multiple choice questions. Our findings indicated that residents were most interested in improving the city’s parks, improving its general infrastructure, implementing more nature in public areas, increasing youth activities, and increasing community events by way of street fairs with live music. Recommendations based on these findings are discussed within the report. Keywords: improvements, parks, nature, events, infrastructure
